Catholic Schools Week Celebrations
During Catholic Schools Week we collected various things that our local St. Vincent dePaul facility could use. The donations included canned goods, socks and toiletry items. Sixth grade helped us deliver to the store. Service in action!
During Catholic Schools Week, our principal Carina VanPelt was interviewed by Salt and Light Radio Station. Click the picture below and it will take you to that interview. On that page click on "Carina VanPelt" from the January 28th interview.

2016 Catholic Schools Week Testimonials
As part of our Catholic Schools Week Celebration, we asked families to tell us why they love Holy Rosary School. These are some of our responses.
We have 5 children. All of them have attended Holy Rosary Catholic School (HRCS) since age 3. Our oldest graduated from High School in May 2015. Our youngest is attending PK at this time. We feel proud of the education they have received while attending HRCS. Our oldest daughter graduated from 8th grade at HRCS and by the time she attended 9th grade she was aware of the temptations other students were having at public schools and was able to resist drugs or skipping class as many other students often don’t do. I wish all of our children could attend up to the 8th grade at HRCS because they get out more prepared to go out into the world. I love the small classes and the personal attention they get from teachers, but most of all I like their religious education because it helps and supports our values.
-Parents of 5
As new attendees of Holy Rosary Catholic School, we are pleased with the attention we have received from faculty. Everyone that we have met has answered questions, and left us feeling like we’ve made the best decision for our child’s early education.
Holy Rosary Catholic School has rigorous academics coupled with realistic expectations based on each child as an individual. The teachers tailor the workload for each student based on what is best for that student, not what is best for standardized tests.
"I have been fortunate to have my child attend Holy Rosary School. The school has high academic standards and deep Christian values. Holy Rosary School is served by passionate teachers, administrators and staff who truly care for the students in and out of school."
-Jeff Borkowski, parent of a sixth grader
Holy Rosary School is a warm and welcoming school that provides a high quality of education and fosters a strong sense of community in its students. My daughter has blossomed since starting here and I will gladly send my son here as well.
Holy Rosary Elementary not only addresses Idaho Falls need for great education for our youth but it also reinforces strong values, responsibility and consequences. The school supports family relationships, offers a sense of community between both classmates and schoolmates, and provides a safe and caring environment. We are blessed to belong to such a wonderful school.
The teachers and staff at Holy Rosary show a unique dedication to best meeting the social and academic needs of each child. I believe this contributes to an environment that helps each child maximize their mental, emotional and spiritual growth and development.
